Chef Table – the newly designed value-added activity with unique experience for communication and cooperation is dedicated to participated exhibitors by ANUFOOD China 2020.
The first Chef Table had a successful closure on 27 August in Chengdu, with strong support from GAGGANAU Chengdu, well-known chef Lance Yu and premium food materials provided by participated brands, invited guests had tasted delicacy and experienced the miracle of “from country of origin to dinning table” and explored business opportunities with suppliers.
During the activity, high-quality food materials from Ireland, Brazil, Uruguay, and Finland are selected, pairing with condiments with local characteristics of China, the United States, and with integration of fine food from Peru to present exquisite delicacy. The event has occupied an area of over 530 square meters in GAGGANAU Chengdu with its elegant decoration and independent wine tasting space in German style, provided an excellent communication occasion for exhibitors and importers, distributors and invited quality buyers from hotels, restaurants. The food industry seminar themed “Are you ready for a different South China market”, organised by Koelnmesse and co-organised by Global Union and Meat International Group, will provide a platform with much insights for industry participants to communicate with each other during Anuga. On October 7, 2019, topics such as the importance of entering South China’s market for imported food and analysis of opportunities in China’s meat market will be addressed.
The session “the importance of entering South China’s market for imported food” will introduce the market in Southern China by focusing on the market size, the characters of consumption market in the food sector, top 10 cities of import value, best-selling product categories and suggestions on sales channels and promotion.
